Skype; one of the most popular PC Video Chat haven’t got much impressions on Android Devices. Skype Video call for Android was limited to Nexus S, SE Xperia Neo, SE Xperia Pro, HTC Desire S. Finally this is going to be change, in a blog post Skype confirmed Video Chat now available on 17 more Android devices that will cover all Major Android Devices. The latest Update for Skype Android brings Video chat to:

  • HTC Evo 3D
  • HTC Evo 4G
  • HTC Flyer
  • HTC Incredible S
  • HTC Sensation
  • HTC Thunderbolt

NOTE: For those of you using Android 2.2 (Froyo) and above, you should still be able to enable video calling in your Skype settings. Just go to “Skype settings” after launching the app and select “enable video calling”.
We already found a few alternatives for Video calling (even with group video call) on Android such as QikFringGoogle Talk and Tango. But Skype lovers will definitely enjoy using Skype Video chat on their Android device.
